oh hey. let's talk about me. 

My name is williambryantmiles, or you can call me WBM. I'm a bunch of things, but first of all I'm a Black gay man born and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Growing up in one of America's largest Black communities in the middle of its most global city has given me a unique worldview.  

 

For nearly 20 years my professional career has centered telling stories about people like me, amplifying voices of those least heard and designing creative solutions for problems in the arts and cultural sectors. I've worked with organizations all over the United States of America and in London, and I've earned credentials from Howard University; Goldsmiths, University of London; and NYU.

On a journey like mine, I'm hesitant to tick boxes and assign titles. But I can say that at various points I've been called: writer, director, producer, creative director, consultant, thought partner, talent and visionary. These days, I think the last feels most right.
